Rockland Rowing had a successful outing at the Head of the Charles Regatta. We won many lottery selections which gave us the opportunity to race multiple boat entries at this world-famous regatta. Enya Gilroy was selected to row in a single and we had a men’s youth coxed quad and a women’s youth coxed quad. All our racers did well - with many participating in the first race of their rowing/coxswain careers at the Head of the Charles Regatta. Which was an overwhelming experience many have said. Returning for his second year at HOCR, Ron Gold rowed as a PR 1 in the inclusion double event with Rob Norden in the Adaptive Category. A big shout out to our master rowers as well for participating in a men’s four and some participating in their college alumni boats which was a blast from the past. We are looking forward to next fall in hopes of racing again.
