Zion’s most memorable sporting achievement has been seeing his racing speed improve over his first season… The most influential people in his sporting career are Coach Veli, whose encouragement and mentorship have been really important to him, and his dad, who has always helped Zion to set new goals and push his limits in hiking and cycling... Outside of rowing Zion performs with the Children's Shakespeare Theater, reads voraciously, plays video games, and spends time with his friends... He would like to row in college, and someday compete in the National Championships and the Head of the Charles. He's interested in studying history in college.
