US Rowing Youth Nationals is a multi-day regatta that hosts the most outstanding youth rower in the country to compete. One must qualify for this race through other regattas. We had the ability to have 10 RRA rowers qualify. This year our rowers were determined to race to the best of their ability. Throughout the weekend we achieved great results with the women’s U17 4x claiming 2 nd place in Final B this was quite the race with our quad sprinting with all they had to come in 2 nd by only a couple seconds. The men’s youth 2- came in 7 th in Final C. The men’s U17 2x finished in 8 th in Final A and the women’s Youth 2x finishing 8 th in Final B. we are so proud of all rowers on their achievements and being top contenders in the county. We look forward to next year and hopefully bringing some medals home to Rockland Lake.
