Head of the Charles is a world recognized race that teams either qualify from prior years, coming in the top half of the events entries or will have to win the bid through the bid process. We were lucky enough to have many rowers accepted into this amazing event. In the men’s youth double comprised of Ian Bowen and Maks Grach who are actually, under 17 years old came in 25 th claiming the top half of their race out of the 50 entries solidifying their boat to be qualified for next years race. Our women’s under-17 four comprised of Fiona, Naomi, Gemma, Cristian, and Maya, they claimed 12 th place coming in the top half out of 28 entries. This also solidifying their boat to be qualified for next year’s regatta. Along with the youth we had one of our masters and his son Justin and Connor Boahn compete in the Directors' Challenge Parent/Child Doubles. They came in 13 th place claiming the top half out of 47 entries present. We cannot wait to compete next year and hope we have more entries present. Lets go RRA!
