1st Annual Rockland Masters Regatta

This year's Rockland Masters Regatta was a tremendous success, drawing competitors from across the rowing community. We were proud to host our first Master Regatta at Rockland Lake on July 8th 2023. Our first annual Masters Regatta was well run and without a glitch we were told. Pretty amazing for a first inaugural Rockland Regatta! Most of the day, we were suggested that US Rowing should have masters nationals at this course. Plenty of parking, 10 exquisite lanes, flat water, centrally, located & convenient to the majority of folks that row in the US. What a great way to kick off our first ever regatta. We were super thrilled to have everyone come and enjoy our location as much as we do everyday. We eagerly await the return of seasoned rowers and welcome new faces to what promises to be a memorable day of racing, camaraderie, and celebration on and off the water next year. Hoping more can experience the thrill of rowing amidst the natural beauty of Rockland Lake State Park.

Event Highlights:

  • The 1000m course has 10 buoyed lanes with stake boats, ensuring fair and competitive racing.
