Philadelphia, PA - A small group of high school student-rowers took a break from studying for upcoming final exams and raced at the Schuylkill Navy Regatta on Saturday. In the boy's single sculls, Ryan Almond Clarkstown North '20 was victorious in the grand final winning with a time of 7:54.86 while teammate Anthony Rostek Tappan Zee '20 was runner-up clocking in at 8:08.65. The boys bested nine competitors to secure the top two places in the field. The team also advanced two girl's double sculls to the grand finals.
Next up the team returns to Philadelphia for the Independence Day Regatta, June 29-30.
